Basilicata in Camper
Basilicata is one of the most varied regions of Italy. Its territory rises from the sea level up to 2.266 meters in Serra Dolcedorme, the highest peak of the Pollino mountain range. Up north, other mountain peaks, from Mount Alpi to the wooded peaks surrounding Potenza, complete the scenery of a rough and rocky land, yet coloured by the greenery of its wooded highlands. Among hundreds of limestone peaks stands the unmisteakable shape of Mount Vulture, an extinct vulcano flanked by the Pollino lakes and the sandstone pinnacles of the Lucanian Dolomites.
