Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: MONTESCAGLIOSO: MILK ROUTE AND Abbey
Breakfast at the Masseria and start of the Milk Experience. We start from the feeding of the animals, from milking to the processing of the final product. Tasting of local products. In the afternoon guided tour of Montescaglioso Abbey. Stroll through the two Renaissance cloisters, discover the rooms that for centuries housed the monks, their knowledge and expertise, stop in the library and observe the frescoes where learned and wise minds have encrypted with grotesques and allegorical figures, the path that leads to the supreme knowledge. Return and dinner in accommodation and overnight stay.
Day 3: FERRANDINA CITY OF ARAGONESE AND LUCAN OIL AND ESSENCES
Breakfast at the Masseria and departure for Ferrandina . A tour of the historic centre that allows you to visit the main monuments of Ferrandina, admire the monumental monastic complexes, the sumptuous stately palaces, two museums (optional), the sixteenth-century quarters and churches of renowned beauty.The tour ends with a visit to a craft liquor factory, an oil mill and includes a tasting of typical products of the city such as olives baked in the oven, majatica oil, sospiro and podolico cheese. Continue to the Amaro Lucano plant. and guided tour of Essenze lucano. Return, dinner and overnight stay
.4 day: ROUTE BETWEEN TRADITION AND CALANCHI (MONTALBANO IONICO)
Breakfast at the Masseria and departure for Montalbano Jonico and visit to the historical centre of Montalbano Jonico, guardian of the peasant and noble life of the past, with a mention of the historical and cultural aspects linked to the illustrious Montalbanesi characters. We reach the start of the “Appiett’ U Castiedd” path, a historic mule track used daily by farmers since the 1950s, to arrive at the “gardens”, an area rich in crops, including orange and olive groves. Along the path, we retrace the geological and environmental history of the area, and discover together what a treasure trove of biodiversity this place, thought to be poor in life, is.
