trekking

Excursion suitable for walkers with children aged 8 years and under.

Discovering the protected area of the Pollino National Park through routes of medium difficulty.

The path has a difference in altitude of about 400 metres, and in the first part we gradually climb up to the “Timpa dell’Orso’, where we enjoy the great panorama over the entire Mercure Valley to catch our breath and prepare for the real climb, inside a dense beech forest that will accompany us to “Cozzo Ferriero”.

Once we reach the summit, we will be able to enjoy another splendid 360° panorama. From here, all we have to do is to lose ourselves among the 400-year-old beech trees, only to find ourselves regenerated and enriched by this World Heritage Site. After resting, we resume the downhill path.
