In the northern area of the Park stands the small village of Calvera, located on the slopes of Monte Mancino.
Calvera is a small village surrounded by greenery, in an extraordinary landscape, where we can breathe healthy air and enjoy panoramic views that allow us to see the peaks of the Pollino range, up to the verdant valley where they meet extended forests of beech, silver fir and other conifers. Within the village do not miss the Mother Church, which preserves valuable works dating back to the seventeenth century, and the Palazzo Mazzilli characterised by external walls decorated with sculptures and ceramics dating back to different eras.
