Marsicovetere includes, in addition to the ancient village located at 1037 above sea level, the area of Villa d’Agri and that of Barricelle. The small centre offers a completely new panorama of the Val d’Agri and some naturalistic itineraries for trekking lovers.

Worth noting, for its extension and historical relevance, is the Villa Romana of Marsicovetere, found in 2006 and monumentalised in the imperial age, whose property is attributed to Bruttii Praesentes, Lucan family of Empress Bruttia Crispina, wife of Commodo.
