A centre with 1400 inhabitants, it is known for the delicious IGP bean that is produced in the surrounding fertile countryside and to which a festival is dedicated every year on 18 and 19 August, during which tasty dishes based on beans are prepared. Sarconi offers the visitor many inspirations, including the aqueduct “Cavour”, built in 1867 in Roman style, and the pretty village, with the interesting Church of Santa Maria Assunta and Chapel of Santa Lucia, inside which there is a fresco of the Madonna and Child.
