This village is situated in the valley of the river Sinni on the hilltop. It has the ruins of an Acropolis which can be seen arranged in staggered rows with a water source. It also has the Literary Park of Isabella Morra, a renowned poet.The park was established in 1993 and extends over the places that the poet loved: the castle, the old town, the Sinni river, Mount Coppolo, the Gallinico wood and the chapel of the Pietà. In these places and the town centre regular events, tours and exhibitions take place.
