A delightful medieval village dominated by the Caracciolo castle, immersed in the naturalistic landscapes of the Lucanian Apennines Val D’Agri Lagonegrese. The road leading to the manor is quite unique, characterised by many round arches that frame one of the many alleys of the town. Here, among noble palaces, portals and hallways it is easy to step back into the past and experience a surreal atmosphere. In addition, the village features a bronze of jurist Mario Pagano, originally from Brienza and martyr of the Neapolitan Republic.
